By buying a pack or downloading a savestate from The Lombardi Project, you agree to the following terms. These are written to be readable — if anything is unclear, email the address at the bottom.

What you're buying

A pack grants you lifetime access to the savestate files for the characters it covers, in both .gci (GameCube memory card) and .sav (Dolphin emulator) formats. When Joey refines a savestate, owners automatically get the latest version on their next download — no re-purchase required, no email chase.

"Lifetime" means as long as The Lombardi Project is operating. If the site is ever shut down, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice with a download link for everything in your account.

License and personal use

Savestates are licensed to you for your personal practice. You may use them on as many of your own devices (GameCube memory cards, Dolphin installs) as you like.

You may not: redistribute the files (publicly or privately), resell them, bundle them with other content, post them to file-sharing sites, or share your account credentials to give others access. These savestates are hand-built work; respecting that is the only way this operation stays sustainable.

Refunds

Because digital goods are delivered instantly, purchases are non-refundable once a download link has been issued. If a file is broken, corrupted, or doesn't load as described, email us and we'll fix it or issue a refund on a case-by-case basis.

No warranty

The savestates and the site are provided "as-is" without warranty of any kind. We do our best to keep things working across Dolphin versions and Nintendont/GameCube setups, but we can't guarantee compatibility with every emulator build or hardware configuration. If something doesn't work for your setup, let us know — we'll troubleshoot with you.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in email secure. If you lose access to the email address tied to your account, contact us and we'll help transfer your entitlements to a new one after verifying ownership (usually via the Stripe receipt).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate an account that's being used to redistribute files, share access, or abuse the service. If this happens we'll email you first with an explanation and a chance to fix it.

Intellectual property

Super Smash Bros. Melee and its characters are the property of Nintendo. The Lombardi Project is an unofficial fan project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Nintendo. The savestate files themselves — the specific in-game situations Joey has constructed — are the work of Joey Farah and are protected by the license terms above.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Minnesota. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in that jurisdiction.

Changes

These terms may be updated occasionally. The version in effect for your purchase is the one shown on this page at the time you bought. If we make a material change, we'll bump the "Last updated" date at the top.
